Chapter 17 | Summer Foraging

WHAT WE’VE BEEN UP TO

The early summer sunshine has been incredible this year. Those warm spells are making everything grow faster than usual. You can almost watch the coastline change daily as new flowers emerge.

Arki and I have been making the most of it, pushing through grass that's now taller than him. The coastal paths are bursting with summer botanicals: elderflower in full bloom, wild honeysuckle climbing the hedgerows, and clusters of red clover dotting the meadows, their dusky pink heads humming with bees. Which can only mean one thing: it’s time to start distilling our Summer Foraged Gin.

WHERE TO ENJOY A COASTAL LANTIC GIN

Exciting news – Lantic Gin is now being served at The Ugly Butterfly and The Tartan Fox, both stunning restaurants by Michelin-starred chef Adam Handling.

We’re incredibly proud to have Lantic behind the bar at some of Cornwall’s most outstanding coastal venues. It means the world to us because these are places that, like our gin, are deeply rooted in craft, provenance, and a real sense of place.

To see Lantic poured and served with creativity by people who care about flavour and story is the highest compliment we could ask for.
