Discover the Wild Side of Gin

Lantic Gin is inspired by the coastal vitality of Cornwall and the native botanicals surrounding the distillery.

Having grown up in the South-West, Alex Palmer-Samborne is on a mission to explore the wilder side of gin by making seasonal spirits from locally foraged botanicals and pure Cornish spring water.

The journey began in a Cornish barn with a traditional two litre copper still, an open mind and a self taught process - he learnt distilling by simply doing it. His idea was to craft a gin that moved away from the traditional gins and captured the seasonal scents and seaside character of Cornwall.

Skylark Distillery; the birds whose song is the soundtrack to so many foraging expeditions, is committed to protecting the ocean and coastline and have adopted a sustainable approach - reducing plastic from our packaging by using custom made recycled cardboard packaging, sealed with recycled paper tape. It feels only right to also collect sea plastic from the coastline when on a foraging expedition.
